¶ INTRO WORDS
Numbers, numbers, numbers … i say NUMBERS!!!!
It’s been a while since i ran into the craze of pointless benchmarks.
And now I’m back with the absolute procrastination stuff. Are you happy with this?
Take a note that 3DMark 03, 3DMark 05, 3DMark 06, 3DMark Vantage [2007], 3DMark 2011 and 3DMark 2021 are not marked by ▒ sign,
showing the fact that these programs lost the soul of demoscene and just providing comparison numbers, nothing else.

CONCLUSION + SOME AM5 RANT
I think i’ll entirely skip Ryzen 9000 series, because it is quite vague in terms of performance gains.
Furthermore, I will not buy future Ryzen 11000 series [more likely Ryzen 10000 will be mobile oriented] and
jump straight to the last version supported by the AM5 socket, just to skip these seasonal products like the Ryzen 9000 series.
As for predicting the life of the AM5 socket.
Given the fact that AM4 is still going strong [you can install Ryzen 5950x for productivity workloads or 5800x3D for gaming]
and AMD’s recent claims about supporting the AM5 platform [until at least 2027]
,
I can predict with high probability that the real world AM5 EOL date will be somewhere around end of 2026.
Let’s leave a margin of error for greed, looking at the greed of blue museum team AMD might change their mind.
Intel CPUs are really out of the question because they can’t compete with AMD for a variety of reasons:
- inefficient and underpowered [not so good architecture]
- whopping power consumption [obsolete lithography]
- super short lifespan of sockets [greed]
- official ban on modifying drivers to work with legacy operating systems [greed]
- small mobile-like cores don’t work good in Windows 7
Oh my God, this is a garbage company for sure.
SO, STAY RA[E]D AND BE OK!
