Just checked some website statistics and was amazed to see that site visitors are spending around 15 minutes on weighted-average. This is quite an achievement for such small project and it looks like that i’m doing more or less acceptable job in terms of entertaining the actual user base. Also i find out that spend time is more important than hit rate, because there is a bounce rate characteristics, which describes quantity of people who view only one page before leaving website.
Sufficient amount of small bloggers/vloggers complain about [shadow-banning problem] on large platforms lke yt, tik-tok an so on. Some of them are trying to investigate the root cause of the issue, some of them just give up, even such legends as [High Treason] . Despite the fact that my yt channel was deleted without any explanations a couple of years ago and yes i run into shadow ban issue on tik-tok, when suddenly all your >200 people auditory just stop leaving comments, drop any activities for a week or so and view counters are showing zero i just don’t think that discussed thing is so important in the end of the day.
To fully enjoy site in terms of ergonomics make sure to set your browser zoom to 120%. In such case fonts will match view-port of development machine. Here i’m talking about Linux, windows 10/11 machines [however i highly doubt that win10/11 users will be interested in this website]. Asking so because website was developed in Windows 7 environment under which all web browsers have a bug to display 100% scale only when 80% zoom is set.
One of my readers asked me why i’m not doing long posts. Answer is pretty trivial. I don’t have much time for writing longer articles. That is why i’m sticking to concept of really short blips, almost like tweets, but a bit longer. Bright side of such aspect is that i’m diving straight to the facts, without any unneeded mambo-jambo. For some reason we all in a hurry now, right? Think that blips disposition is quite effective though.
UPDATED ON: 2023-03-10 ► Thanks goes out to Jean Lebon for suggesting [service to fix broken links] . Super fast information on website. Please don’t hesitate to report broken links, because i already can’t handle correctness of site pages, due to enormous site growth. Website hosts around 1Mb of pure text. A little more and i’ll surpass [Fallout 1] text quantity. Currently all textual information can be saved on a single [3.

This is a second revision of question “Why your blog doesn’t have commentary section?” and “How do you come up with such stupid decision?” First one is [here] . Once again, i don’t see any convincing point, which forces me to incorporate comments section. Reasons not to do this: overwhelming amount of AD spam-robots to fight with overwhelming amount of political/propaganda human flame wars to resolve overwhelming amount of nonsense/emoji commentaries to delete I better spend my spare time on something more useful.
Recently I was questioned about target audience of my website. The answer is straightforwardly killing: I don't have such thing in my mind completely. Just posting stuff in which I’m interested in, no aims or passion to earn some reputation. Site content are beyond trends, fashion, flashy news, whatever. Also I would like to underline the fact that blog will not contain ads in any form. This is permanent decision of mine.
In case you are wondering regarding status and the main purpose of my blog feed. Here is some legal stuff you might want to know. SITE WILL NEVER CONTAIN FOLLOWING THINGS: ADS “TRENDY” NEWS POLITICS COVID NONSENSE ALSO YOU DON’T HAVE TO: SUB PUT LIKES SHARE STUFF WRITE COMMENTS All these boring things you can do in your favorite social-scroll-down-network [if you have such]. But instead of this monotonous stuff I’d rather go for a lil` stroll in a local park.
This will be lil’ personal blog about retro computer technology. If you are interested in things like [Pentium MMX] , [Windows 7] , [Nokia camera-phones] or just simply would like to know about vintage computer stuff of the past then please come on in.
