[Bubba Ho-Tep] is a quite awkward movie, but despite that is worth watching. The main reasons of such conclusion are [Bruce Campbell] and [Brian Tyler] . As you may already noticed i’m fond of good ol’ black humor, which appears as it happens mostly in zombie genre. [Juan Of The Dead] was another unexpected discovery. Story about Cuban slackers running into open revolt of American “dissidents” primarily known as leaving dead zombies. Also i must mark the presence of excellent soundtrack, which significantly improves watching experience. Just watched 9.5 out of 11 episodes of this [zombie soap opera] . Oh, my! What a waste! Lil’ breakdown of main key features: interesting story-line at the beginning, but rapidly degrading into repeating marasmic rave [end of episode 8 is a peak of delirium] frequent meaningless dialogs diluted by zombie cameos low quality acting is a frequent thing also [hi goes out to captain Karl, boy with dumb sheriff hat permanently glued directly to his head, later on was replaced by little girl with the same hat] after disappearance of Rick [main character], series completely lost meaning of existence Highly encourage you not to repeat my mistake and do something useful instead of wasting time on this “masterpiece”!

One of the funniest “recent” American horror-comedy. In terms of humor quality it is almost on the same level with [Evil Dead] , but aesthetics is more neat in [Sam Raimi] franchise. 2010 IS RECENT? ARE YOU NUTS? Yeah, almost no quality black humor trash till today. The wood chipper moment is for sure is the most expressive culmination of in movie humor. SO, ENJOY! Scene with a cop should be awarded with prize for terrific acting!

It’s just incredible how creative were people in 90s. This one will be remembered for sure. Posting to make sure that all of you make a note of it.

I think that people are sicking tired of cheap computer graphics. Everything is so plastic and unnaturally glossy these days. Miss those real video effects from early 90s. And yeah, they were so atmospheric, especially amplified effect of beam light coming out of backdrop. Evil Dead is very neat example, just look at these pieces. Make sure to watch S-Mart scene!
