ACTUAL WINDOW MANAGER ▀ MAKE YOUR WINDOWS 7 EVEN MORE STYLISH

First of all, I’d like to note that this post is not an advertisement and it is not sponsored,
I’m just REALLY impressed by software and decided to share this lucky find with all of you.

Actual Window Manager has quite boring and generic naming, but in reality it is highly advanced
and modern window manager that offers broad functionality combined with 90’s quality.

Adding this software to your arsenal it’s like entering cheat-code for superpowers.
Even advanced knowledge of Windows native functionality looks like a toy compared to this powerhouse of window management.

Almost ALL of functionality makes sense and finds it’s destination. This is quite rare perk these days.

Here is a list of the most notable functions:

  • pump-up your multi-monitor setup by fully-functional taskbar and separate display profiles
  • super convenient and beautiful buttons toolbar for advanced managing window
  • everything is shortcut-able
  • minimize window into icon, hide/unhide window like blinds [feature comes from Unix]
  • set transparency to every window in operating system or make window transparent while dragging
  • move non-fullscreen windows with shortcuts around the display
  • very fast, efficient and lightweight [I cringe at the memory of Display Fusion]
  • add virtual desktops if you can’t get enough of real physical monitors
  • configure each window individually
  • add tabs to windows file explorer
  • bind available audio devices to certain monitors, so that any multimedia application being put on a monitor will automatically
redirect its audio playback to the bound audio device [!!!]
  • ability to save and restore icon positions on the desktop
  • embedded clipboard history for text information
  • and much more!

Windows 7 paired with this software gem easily surpasses Windows 10/11 in terms of eye candy,
and of course, there’s no need to talk about usability.
