Although I use a dedicated audio player for my music immersion 90% of the time, I occasionally need to use my Android device.
I never thought that finding a nice player capable of playing folders [including sub-folders] and easily deleting physical files
would be such a difficult task to do.

  • For high-quality playback, there is [Neutron] ,
    but its ergonomics are definitely not its strongest suit [to put it mildly].

  • [PowerAmp] is a more popular choice and looks nicer,
    but it still struggles with user-friendliness. Honestly, its ergonomics are a total nightmare.

  • Then there is [Musicolet] , which is quite close to what I need, but still misses the mark.

I almost forced myself to vibe-code such application, but then, out of nowhere, I stumbled upon [FoldPlay] .
It is a complete spot on! Player offers easy navigation, the ability to play folders and sub-folders,
and lets you physically delete tracks right from the playlist. Plus, it has a tiny app size with no extra fluff.

What else do we need?
