NEW PERSONAL PROJECT ▀ FREE BULLETIN BOARD FOR YOUR PERSONAL ADS

In my spare time, I realized I’ve reached a point where I’m ready to create something
genuinely useful for end users. Project criteria are clear:

• It must be free
• It must be useful for personal use
• It must be easy to use

A free bulletin board struck me as a particularly neat idea—suggested by a friend.
In my country, there are many such platforms, but nearly all suffer from issues like:

• Overpriced paid tiers driven by greed
• Monsters with poor design and aesthetics

I’ve already sketched wireframes using a Figma-like alternative and drafted some content.
Now, as a developer, I’m planning how to bring this to life.
The project will be built entirely from scratch with no frameworks in the mind.
Here’s the draft tech stack:

• Frontend: TypeScript (JavaScript) + SASS (CSS)
• Backend: PHP
• Database: PostgreSQL

I’ll serve here as the full-stack developer, most of the code will be hand written.
This is partly an intentional effort to resist trends like AI-generated code
and I believe it will be a rewarding challenge to implement.
