TOR BROWSER IS GOING TO DROP WINDOWS 7 RIGHT BEFORE 128 ESR RELEASE

Recently i needed to use TOR to access some blocked resources and was faced quite nasty dropdown banner with the message,
that the browser will drop Windows 7 support soon.
The next major version of Tor browser (14.0) will no longer support this version of Windows.
Please upgrade to Windows 10 or later by October 1st 2024 to conitinue receiving important security updates.

Tor will be updated until release of FireFox 115.15 ESR [September 3, 2024],
because it is based around Firefox ESR codebase.
Yeah, i got it.
And i’m not even disappointed, just digesting happened fact. But anyways, screw them.
In the end of the day, we have couple of [nicely working VPNs and proxy-like workarounds]
.
Also, don’t forget about P2P [Ceno Browser]
for Android devices.
So, we are quite future-proofed at this point.
