TOXIC AVENGER [2023] ▀ MORE THAN FINE REMAKE OF THE ORIGINAL TITLE FROM 1984

[The Toxic Avenger] is a fabulously reimagined take on the [1984 original] .

To be honest, I never finished the original. I simply didn’t enjoy it enough to see it through.
But this new version compelled me to watch it all the way to the very end.

IT DELIVERS LOADS OF STUFF LIKE:

• a way tighter, more intense storyline
• surprisingly strong acting performances for a film of this genre
• excellent cinematography and sound design

Overall, it feels like the most polished and confident entry in it’s category for the last couple of years.
I was genuinely impressed by the level of it’s quality.

The movie certainly gets big laughs by poking fun at hollywood's pop action-movie clichés, especially those so-called "A+++" blockbusters.  

Make sure to watch film till the end, because there is an easter egg in the very final, more over author promise a sequel if movie hits 1 billion dollars!
