Some Questioning Rant Regarding Xiaomi 15 Ultra Camera Application
Xiaomi positions this device as an advanced, almost professional photography tool for imagery enthusiasts.
And yes, the camera application is quite good, except for one little thing:
the inability to save the resolution and format of photographs in it’s presets system.
Moreover, the application does not remember these settings, so when you launch the camera again,
they reset to the default values and of course you have to configure them over and over again, wasting your time
and forcing you to do loads of unnecessary screen taps.
As a result, street photography, which often requires agility, becomes inaccessible because of the issues mentioned above.
What were they thinking? It look like that the brains of the lead application designers are in the ass,
or they never use this camera application by themselves, and as a logical result, such problems do not bother them at all.
The most astounding part of this story is that it has been two years since the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was released.
Multiple software updates have been received and applied to the system, but there is still no fix for this ultra-annoying issue.
It feels as if nobody is interested in such functionality.
Sadly, this kind of moronic behavior can be observed across other tech industries as well.
