THREE OF THE MOST ANNOYING "FEATURES" OF THE ANDROID OPERATING SYSTEM THAT HAVE BEEN POISONING IT SINCE VERSION 1.0
As a long-term user of Android OS i stacked up the most irksome peculiarities.
They have been with us for ages, since version 1.0 to be exact.
- messed up separation between internal and external storage, which is not clear to a generic windows user,
files are hard to find, applications save data randomly either on internal or external storage,
logic pattern is definitely broken here - incoherent and unclear notification system, with poor organization of priorities
- absence of transparent file handling, i am talking about file extension-application matching,
there is no convenient tools to manage this task
And it looks like google will never fix above mentioned facts.
All they do is uselessly reshape/repaint buttons, make cosmetic changes here and there,
anything you can imagine but just not something useful.
The main thing they are interested in is NeuralAPI and keeping the ad system up to date.
Android 8.0 is the latest clean of telemetry operating system.
Another significant drop in quality in this area is certainly Android 14.
The number of garbage services and applications has increased many times over.
I recently switched to an Oppo X6 Pro smartphone that came with Android 13 pre-installed.
It took me a long time to talk myself into accepting the use of this device.
And i’m not going to update it to 14 in any case.
If you don’t want to read computer related crap, just listen to the nice music.
