Xiaomi 15 Ultra [2026] vs Nokia PureView 808 [2012] ▀ Which One Captures The Most Detailed Daylight Shots?
Full-fledged cameraphone benchmarks are aimed on screens > 1280px width.
So almost any desktop or laptop should be fine. Smartphones are not supported, in favor of pixel-peeping convenience.
It’s been a while since i’ve posted entertaining comparisons of modern “cameraphones”,
which try to compete Nokia 808 in resolution field without any luck.
Here is one more at your disposal.
IMAGE WIDTH >1600px IS RECOMMENDED!
▒ DIRECT COMPARISON
In the very beginning of the test I underline the fact that
we are comparing only resolution and not the dynamic range.
In this category older FSI sensor is an outsider, for sure.
Today’s rival is [Xiaomi 15 Ultra]
with true 1" sensor.
This cameraphone represents the current peak in mobile photography.
As you may already know Nokia PureView 808 comes with 1/1.2" FSI sensor [almost 1"], but based upon non-Quad Bayer sensor.
Now let’s see how Nokia will hold up against Xiaomi.
THE METHODOLOGY:
* no post-processing
* images were resized to 3000px in width
* and then cropped at 100% zoom
Glitchy modern browsers can easily alter image quality during page rendering or badly construe scaling factors,
so i suggest to download original images from my cloud storage and pixel peep them at 100% manually.
ON THE LEFT SIDE IS NOKIA PUREVIEW 808
ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS XIAOMI 15 ULTRA
