No jibber-jabber here, just watch the review. In my opinion worn effect looks pretty cool and this should be noted by keyboard manufactures for sure. I am not even saying anything about form factor of the keycaps, because there are obviously groovy and have some charisma.
Accidental find of extremely kick ass soundtrack and [arcade game]

Looking back at my [previous post]
, I thought that it would be a mandatory thing to do, just to safeguard you from playing complete junk. We’ll start with the good things.
PROS OF 1945 AIR FORCE
Pixel art graphics at its finest. I am not a big fan of epic orchestral music, so I will put just OK here. [yes, it is nicely arranged, and all genre requirements are met as they should be] Quite a “large” list of PROS, huh?
Excellent low-budget SciFi short movie accidentally found on [DUST] youtube channel.
I am not gonna talk about the plot - see it by yourself.
It is definitely a very neat effort and it just begs for the part two. THE MACHINE
[The Toxic Avenger]
is a fabulously reimagined take on the [1984 original]
.
To be honest, I never finished the original. I simply didn’t enjoy it enough to see it through. But this new version compelled me to watch it all the way to the very end.
IT DELIVERS LOADS OF STUFF LIKE:
a way tighter, more intense storyline surprisingly strong acting performances for a film of this genre excellent cinematography and sound design Overall, it feels like the most polished and confident entry in it’s category for the last couple of years.
UPDATED ON: 2025-11-01 Some updates from the development fields.
▀ INTRO RANT Just want to take a break from mindlessly trimming trailing spaces and fixing indentation “issues” in my “learning” projects at overpriced online courses.
If i have spare time i’ll surely drop that neat story on you, where i share lessons learned about reality of web development and avoiding costly mistakes when it comes to paid education (or in reality: self-learning).
I stumbled upon a really good ’80s cover on YT, believe it or not it is the best one. If I’m not mistaken, the guy at the 8-second mark around the center of the frame is [Jean-Claude Van Damme]
, who was not well-known at that time.
SHANNON ▀ LET THE MUSIC PLAY [PARRKET REMIX]
And here is an original track for purists.

Dedicated for you retrowave synth pop addicts!
One more hidden gem of synthwave genre.
THE FAM░US ON HOLD S░NG BUT NOW IT'S AN 80S BANGER Oh my! I remeber this as a CISCO IP telephony default on hold music.

[Midnight Run]
is certainly a good way to spend your Monday evening. First of all the movie has an entertaining story line and is really fun to watch.
Here are some quick highlights as always:
neat late 80s humour sunny and warm atmosphere throughout the film appealing bluesy transitions real explosions [not just CGI sh#t] OFFICIAL TRAILER

Bring your museum 4.7Mhz XT machine up to the performance of an AT 286 machine. In those days, productivity gains were measured in times, not the measly percentage units that currently are common practice in the marketing world today. Adrian has done a very interesting review of such a rare accelerator. Thanks fly out to him, enjoy!
I already marked stand-from-the-crowd [Neo Geo console]
of the early 90s. Now it is time to mention a Japanese computer that is definitely made with love and effort, just look at it’s design!

is not that active these days, so i have to find a solid substitute for my retro hardware cravings. And, oh boy, that was not an easy task to complete, i can barely find a solid reviewer among hundreds of sellouts, boring and just plain ignorant vloggers.
But in the end of the day i found him! Yeah, it is [RetroSpector78]
from Belgium. His speciality is producing reviews of obscure and rare pieces of computer hardware [primarily from 80s-90s era] with episodic dives into the software field.
Is it Friday or not, for God’s sake? Here are some retro-O-matic tracks right in your years. For some reason, unlisted or private videos can’t be viewed on the mobile version of the site, although the desktop template works fine. I am investigating the matter.

The [Acorn computer]
is probably one of the most underrated in computer history. All mobile device manufacturers should give a credit to the developers of Acorn’s first RISC computer. They developed the first System-on-Chip CPU. Without the efforts of Acorn engineers you would probably be running an overheated, crashing quad-core CISC CPU from Intel in your mobile device in 2024.
ACORN ARCHIMEDES ▀ REALLY IMPORTANT COMPUTER IN TECHNOLOGY HISTORY

COMPLETE VIDEO
Despite the fact that i’m not a MIDI person, i find this video loaded with interesting technical and historical facts about the era. So, take a look if you have spare time!
I am glad that in this historical video there is no mention of such things as windows 10/11, as they surely did not bring anything new to the world of ergonomics, but rather on the contrary worsened it by a substantinal margin.
Most of you are probably thinking why there are no posts for such a long time. I was quite overloaded with real life events. Anyways, here’s a bunch of atmospheric retrowave tracks for you.No junk, no fluff, only solid stuff. As always.

Forget about last two [or so] seasons, because they are complete boredom!
As for me, i think that [YOUNG SHELDON]
is a worthy prequel to [Big Bang TV-series]
. Great warm analog atmosphere of 80s.Watched it excitedly in one gulp. A bit too pop, with rare deterioration in scenario quality but very solid in terms of actor performance and overall design. If you have bad mood for some reason this thing will fix you up at no time.
