ROCKY VI [1987] ▀ BY AKI KAURISMAKI

ROCKY VI [1987] ▀ BY AKI KAURISMAKI

[Short comedy] from [Aki Kaurismaki] . ROCKY VI [PARODY] Soundtrack by [Leningrad Cowboys] For serious people i can suggest to watch classic trilogy [Rocky I] / [Rocky II] / [Rocky III] . Also i can recommend [Rocky V] . It is surprisingly satysfying especially how dumb was [Rocky IV] . SOME REALLY GOOD SOUNDTRACK FROM ROCKY IV ROBERT TEPPER - NO EASY WAY OUT
HODEJEGERNE [2011]

HODEJEGERNE [2011]

A friend of mine dropped me a recommendation to watch the [movie] . So i’ve done it and now recommend it to you. If you like non-cliche movies and understand nordic self-irony and humour welcome on board! No YT video at this time because film owners blocked embedded content on extrenal sites. Here is [direct link] to YT trailer.
MIAMI VICE [1984-1990]

MIAMI VICE [1984-1990]

[Miami Vice] ….what can i say? I don’t know why it has status of cult tv series. Plot and acting are very plain and sometimes ridiculously childish. One thing which i know for sure is that film demonstrates pretty good music selection for the era. We can hear not only generic stuff like pop and rock, but more underground things like techno, funk and reggae, which are also here.
LOST [2004-2010] ▀ SPOILED GEM

LOST [2004-2010] ▀ SPOILED GEM

Scratchy narration makes movie stylish only at the very beginning of the [show] , but heading towards to the end it transforms picture into incoherent overcomplicated mess. Pretty neat plot spoiled by overwhelming amount of flashbacks and useless characters with detailed description of their past lifes.
Scarce amount of backdrop music. Last season should be banned.

CHERNOBYL FROM HBO [2019] ▀ UNSPOILED GEM

CHERNOBYL FROM HBO [2019] ▀ UNSPOILED GEM

It's been a while Finally i'm back I've lost some markdown sources of the blog, so pretty much everything from May 2022 was restored from scratch Hope that this will not happen again [British masterpiece] that shows corruption and stupidness of top-end bureaucrats and lying propaganda statistics. Films also expose true and forgotten heroes of the time. It also features: realistic narration very solid acting atmospheric ambient soundtrack ENTRANCE QUOTE FROM THE FIRST EPISODE
BIG BANG THEORY [2007-2019] ▀ PROBABLY THE BEST US SITCOM EVER

BIG BANG THEORY [2007-2019] ▀ PROBABLY THE BEST US SITCOM EVER

[Big Bang Theory] shows how to do comedy in a proper way. Excellent sitcom. Story line holds up pretty well. Overall scenario and actor cues are just brilliant. Sense of humor is universal with glimpses of geek related stuff. Main disadvantage is permanent backdrop laugh. I wonder is there any chance to get version without “wonderful” pointer when to laugh and when not? One more downside that I’ve noticed: complete absence of music.
SPARTACUS [2010-2013] ▀ GULP OF FRESH AIR

SPARTACUS [2010-2013] ▀ GULP OF FRESH AIR

After [atrocious Walking Dead] run into [bloody brilliant Spartacus] . Produced by [Sam Raimi] , the same guy who created classic Evil Dead series. Movie brings excellent story line with very solid acting. Ultra atmospheric [soundtrack by Joseph LoDuca] and overall design aestetics are also present. Legendary and ridiculously underrated TV-series, aesthetics of motion picture far exceeds most of TV-series and enters area of quality full-length movie. Spartacus is a real drama, showing what is a “humanity” in a nutshell.
GEORGE R.STEWART ▀ EARTH ABIDES

GEORGE R.STEWART ▀ EARTH ABIDES

As far as i remember i never suggested any book for reading. SO HERE IS [ONE] . Don’t want to describe anything. It simply must be read by any means. Just wanted to share one of my favourite Sci-Fi books ever.
NARCOS SERIES ▀ ENTERING SOUNTRACK

NARCOS SERIES ▀ ENTERING SOUNTRACK

Actually, i do not like soap TV operas at all. However, this one just hit the spot in a right way. I suppose that Narcos is the best long TV series i ever run into for the whole of my life. This is a story of famous Colombian drug lord, who made his way from complete poverty to the richest man of the world. His [overall year profit] was much bigger than income of big corporations of the time, like General Electric.
