Both of them are based upon Windows 10 LTSC, so you are backed with updates until 2032! Of course appointed projects are in the active development and have numerous of bugs here and there. I hope that someday they will become fully functional replacements of atrocious Windows 10 user interface. And if i switch to Windows 10 i will surely exploit them, to hide myself from Windows 10 default tastelessness.

Just want to make a super quick note on neat browsers for legacy operating systems. There is not so much choice for such vintage OS these days.
There are two of last Mohicans. K-Meleon & MyPal.
K-Meleon is way more lightweight and will be good for slow puters. There is even a Windows 98 version.
While MyPal will bring up more modern web compatibility, but of course it is tad slower than K-Meleon.
Today, I finally fixed my laptop workstation from 2012. Model [Dell M4700]
to be precise.
Replaced old 2.4Ghz Dell 1504 WiFi module and installed brand new 1540 model with 5Ghz support ordered on eBay. Web speedtest shows around 200 Mbit/s. I’m satisfied with the result.
High performance quad-core cpu i7-3740QM (4c/8t) in conjunction with 8Gb of RAM and paired with 2Gb Quadro K1000M workstation video chip can do wonders (of course only within Windows XP abilities).
