Recently my personal desktop at home has been subjected to multiple hacking attempts. Attacks were scattered and came from different IP addresses. They were all of a different nature. Most likely it was automatic security hacking bot searching for vulnerable systems or a script kiddie pretending to be a hacker. At first my computer was attacked using teardrop attack. This was repeated multiple times in a row. Simply speaking, teardrop is a type of network attack in which an attacker uses fragmented packets to overload network devices and penetrate the security of network.

Good news to Windows 7 users! Operating system will be updated until at least of winter 2026, despite yellow pressed tabloid propaganda that such thing will not happen. Even microsoft official documents show that [system is “dead”] right from winter of 2020. But what moron listen and trust to official and moreover public statements? The main trick here is that Windows 7 is based upon Windows NT 6.0 codebase. This is the same codebase upon Windows 2008 R2 was build.

UPDATED ON: 2024-06-25 Forget about last two [or so] seasons, because they are complete boredom! As for me, i think that [YOUNG SHELDON] is a worthy prequel to [Big Bang TV-series] . Great warm analog atmosphere of 80s.Watched it excitedly in one gulp. A bit too pop, with rare deterioration in scenario quality but very solid in terms of actor performance and overall design. If you have bad mood for some reason this thing will fix you up at no time.

I’m not a big fan of [Godfrey Reggio] as a non-verbal filmmaker, because of dominance of marvelous [Ron Fricke] in this category. But [Once Within A Time] surely hit the spot in a right way. It’s been a while since Aki Kaurismaki delighted us with his ultra-realistic dramas about generic people. Movie is surely a gulp of fresh air, clearly marking it among fake’n’plastic main-stream so-called hollywood videos. Despite the low amount of words [it is a calling card of director] Fallen Leaves is so emotionally fulfilled. But enough of this, go watch film if you care. It looks like [Hugo dropped] Windows 7 support. Version 0.121 was a last one to execute without any problems. All subsequent updates 0.121.1 or later throw following crash upon execution. As a former fan of side-scrolling beat’em up games i surely remember [Streets Of Rage] series on Sega MegaDrive platform. In some regions it was also known as Bar Knuckle. [Streets Of Rage 4] is a modern continuation of vintage trilogy of 90s. High quality hand-drawn animation and brand new soundtrack [with ability to switch to original Streets Of Rage themes] do the thing and mark Streets Of Rage 4 as a worthy continuation of original SOR trilogy.

As a hardcore user of [dual-panel orthodox file manager] i always suffered because of sucky look of default console fonts. Native preloaded font list has quite scarce selection, if you ask me. To fix such disappointment you’ll need: install desired fonts by means of windows control panel copy EXACT FONT NAME fonts section in control panel paste it into registry key into following branch HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Console\TrueTypeFont note that every new subsequent font should be added by a key with added one zero to registry key name reboot computer to apply & enjoy!

As you may already know golden age of personal computing happened somewhere around 80s and 90s. Time when new computer model was released almost every week or so. No standardization at all, everybody were doing exactly what they wanted without any restrictions. GOLDEN AGE OF PERSONAL COMPUTING

I almost never do reviews of Russian movies, but this one should be an exception. After watching Shapito Show i was quite surprised to see how much efforts were invested. [Sergey Loban] is an author of very experimental [Dust] , which was released previously to Shapito Show. Shapito brings more artistic value and a lot of joy to watch, because of it’s own unpredictability of events. Film consist of four stories, which are happening at the same time and divided into two parts for better watching experience.

You may already noticed that i post entertaining stuff primarily around Fridays, but today is an nice exception and i’m doing it in tuesday. Most of you know [Jackie Chan] due to [Armor Of God 1] and [Armor OF God 2] movies, but after watching them so many times, they’re frankly became such a boredom. As for early Chan’s movies of 70s/80s eras, they are quite weird and not so interesting to me.
