I don’t quite understand why people are using horizontal top [MacOS] or horizontal bottom [Windows] taskbars and not vertical one. Most of us are exploiting 16:9, 16:10 or even 21:9 displays. So basic logic confirms that we have more pixels in horizontal plane and less in vertical. So it’s better to save vertical space [pixels], but not horizontal ones. GUI of complex programs like to “eat” vertical space soooo much.

K-Meleon & MyPal.     K-Meleon is way more lightweight and will be good for slow puters. There is even a Windows 98 version. While MyPal will bring up more modern web compatibility, but of course it is tad slower than K-Meleon.

Today, I finally fixed my laptop workstation from 2012. Model [Dell M4700] to be precise. Replaced old 2.4Ghz Dell 1504 WiFi module and installed brand new 1540 model with 5Ghz support ordered on eBay. Web speedtest shows around 200 Mbit/s. I’m satisfied with the result. High performance quad-core cpu i7-3740QM (4c/8t) in conjunction with 8Gb of RAM and paired with 2Gb Quadro K1000M workstation video chip can do wonders (of course only within Windows XP abilities).

Yeah, i’m 108% confident Nowadays people don’t have much choice in terms of choosing their web browser. google chrome is a choice of almost all common people. I choose not to choose it. Because of it’s invasive philosophy to collect every possible thing it can dig up and then send back to it’s Master. I can’t even call it a browser any more. It is data-collecting platform, with very high privileges.
